The Maui Film Festival is the event I look forward to ALL year. It’s got everything – movies, food, events, celebrities, community and it celebrates Maui. What more could you ask for? Three years ago I covered the film festival for Hawaii News Now (see video below) – but now, as a Maui resident, this festival has taken on new meaning for me. I’m so honored to be a part of covering the fabulous events this week!
One SUPER exciting new addition to the Maui Film Festival events is a new location. The “Seaside Cinema” at the Grand Wailea. You think the “Celestial Cinema” venue is stunning? I can’t wait to experience that same ambiance closer to shore. Here’s a sneak peak by Yvonne Biegel of the rehearsal last night at the Grand Wailea. One word: MAGIC.
The Seaside Cinema will feature one movie every night during the festival. Here’s a quick summary. Click HERE for more details on the films, tickets and to watch movie trailers as you plan out your week. I’ve linked the movies below to their trailers. Just click on the hyperlink to watch
