Malika’s Minute is a name my husband came up with for short one-minute videos that I will occasionally post. This one is a simple tutorial on how to make sure your pareo (or sarong) doesn’t fly away when you’re at the beach. No rocks needed! lol I use this “technique” every single time I go to the beach. If I bring my pareo it’s great because it works as a cover up and as a “beach blanket” for me to lie on. Plus, my towel doesn’t need to get sandy. Love it! If you’re looking to get a pareo, the best place to get one is in Tahiti, second best place is Hawaii – otherwise, just go online.
I like the pareos that don’t have fringe like this one. Click the image to go to the link.
If you like a little bit of fringe, here is one from Hawaii with beautiful colors.

Malika wouldn’t it have been great if you were in Tahiti to greet the Hokulea when they arrive!
