Full Disclosure – This is the very first “Insta Endorsement” I’ve accepted I was not paid to post about it BUT I was asked to pick out four of my favorite pieces from the Pink Blush Maternity website in exchange for posting a blog and sharing my experience on my social media platforms (Malika’s - Instagram, Twitter, Facebook).
First off, I wouldn’t have accepted the endorsement if I didn’t LOVE the site. I’ve turned several down before because I need to actually believe in it or I’m completely unable to write about it. LOL
I love that there are pieces that go from casual to formal, day to night, summer to winter… AND because I’m nearing the end of my pregnancy, it was nice that they had wardrobe options for me that could go from pregnancy to nursing to postpartum.
So here it goes… Malika’s “Pink Blush Maternity” Picks…
Ivory Lace Top Linen Maternity Tunic $34 (above)
I love the lace detail on the top and the cute tassel tie down the front. It’s adorable and really made me feel “cute” I paired the tunic with some boots and a high ponytail for a casual, fun look and was really excited to wear it for my Sprinkle party paired with leggings and cute black heels (I sat most of the time and didn’t really end up wearing the heels in the end – ha ha! Probably safer that way anyway!). You do need to wear nude undies with this one because of the ivory color.
Grey Black Tribal Maternity Cardigan $44
I’m really into tribal prints and wanted to get both a cold and warm weather option when it came to cover-up / cardigan type garments. This one stood out to me because it can be dressed up or down. It’s made of polyester and spandex – a medium weight fabric which is perfect for our “cooler” days here in Hawaii. I loved pairing it with jeans and a simple white shirt for open mic night and got tons of compliments!
Mint Beige Tribal Chiffon Maternity Kimono $37
I was super excited about this piece because it’s my FAVORITE color! I love mint green! To top it off, the subtle print is a tribal print – another one of my favorites! It stood out because I love these types of chiffon kimonos as swimsuit cover-ups here in Hawaii. Sheer enough to be sexy, yet you can still cover up if you want to. But the best part is how versatile the piece is. It’s been pretty hot here on Maui and it’s nice to have a wardrobe piece that I can wear over simple basic wardrobe items that dresses them up without putting on too many heavy layers. Especially when you’re pregnant and sweating and always hot… lol The fabric is breathable and light – perfect for preggo mamas!
Pink Tribal Chevron Delivery/Nursing Maternity Robe $41
I haven’t worn this one yet because I’m nearly 39 weeks into my pregnancy and it’s packed in my hospital bag waiting near the front door for labor to begin. << Check out my “What to Pack in Your Hospital Bag” blog >> I love the soft fabric and the tribal print. I think this will be a nice way to feel a bit pampered after baby is born…. lounging in my pretty robe.
There you have it! My Pink Blush Maternity Picks! Only wish I’d found this site sooner!
