Two Years of Marriage Bliss

My relationship is perfectly imperfect.

On March 9, 2013 – I pretty much married myself! ha ha!
My husband and I have very similar personalities. We are stubborn, hardheaded, bossy and ALWAYS think we are right. We are also very sensitive, deeply caring, generous and love with all of our hearts.

We both love children, music, travel, the ocean and being outdoors.
When they say it’s best to marry your best friend… that’s us.

Even though we’ve officially been married more than three years (in the eyes of the State of Hawaii)… it’s been two years since we gathered our families and friends to surround us on one of the best days of our lives.

That day, nothing in our relationship changed.

Every day with him is a gift. I can’t imagine my life without him. Not just because he takes the trash out, kills the centipedes, does the dishes every night, puts Jackson to bed, and I never have to fill my gas tank… but because I’ve never been loved by anyone the way he loves me. He is my support system, my “partner in crime” and my biggest cheerleader. There are no words to describe how much I love this man. I can’t squeeze him hard enough or spread my arms out wide enough to show him how much. But I don’t need to, because I know… that he knows.

My heart is full of Kaimi… I see you.
